Question

Thetford cassette toilet,, not sure of model but think it's a C2. under the toilet roll holder there is a small pump, and a 30 amp relay switch, these look like they do not submerge. To the pump there is a pipe from the onboard cold water tank. From the pump the pipe goes to a small one way valve, this I think goes in to the flush talk that holds the blue chemical flush.. My question is about this valve. Where does it sit in the tank ? The pump had a holding slot, the relay switch crews down, the flush pipe fits to the toilet bowl but I can not see a place or feel a place to fix this small valve back to even though it has a clip on one side and a shaped groove on the other, help please.

Answer

You have a C3 toilet and you can see the arrangement for the connections by looking on our website under Caravan Spares, Thetford Cassette Toilets, C2, C3 and C4 toilets. Then click on the PDF labeled C3. OR click on the following link\r\n\r\nThetford Toilet Cassette type C2 C3 and C4 - Spare Parts\r\n\r\n The water from the caravan water supply is used to flush the toilet via an electromagnet valve which should open when you turn the flush knob. There should be no liquid in the compartment underneath the toilet roll holder which contains this valve. The blue additive must only be used in the waste tank.
