Question

We have Elddis Hurricane xl 1994 and the water heater Cascade2 has a blockage from silt or muck and we can not get hot water to pump through. Any suggestions to dissolve silt.

Answer

You have little alternative but to dismantle the heater and clean out the tank. This may be a problem as the tank seals are no longer available but you may find that your existing seals are serviceable, but this is unlikely.
