To install an element to any Thetford fridge you will need to open the insulation jacket around the heat tube to allow you to extract the old element. This can be a bit fiddly as if you damage it is more difficult to clip it back together again. Once you have installed the element into the heat tube , ensuring it is correctly located in the retaining tube you just need to connect the wires in the same place as the old ones.
