The Thule Lift V16 manual offers a stable and solid attachment to the rear wall of a motorhome or caravan. The carrier can be extended up to 3 bikes and the lowest position of the platform makes loading and unloading your bikes easy.

  • Can bridge a distance of 70 cm in height to have easy access to the platform
  • The base can be lowered and raised by using a crank, making the installation of the bikes effortlessly.
  • The platform lock creates excellent dynamic force control and perfectly secures your bikes during transport. The platform is locked manually and can easily be clicked in the upwards position when not in use. The lifting frame is nice and tight during the ride thanks to integrated safety straps
  • The adjustable wheel holders make sure you can almost fit any bike on the bike carrier, from mountain bikes to childrens bikes.
  • Lockable bike holders: to secure and lock your bikes on the carrier, the bike holders are lockable with a key.

What is the maximum opening / grip length of the bike grips? – we have two step thro’ Raleigh ebikes which have thick main tubes
There is no strict answer, but looking at the grip I’d say round tube 8cm. Exotic shapes are to be tested first. Often the saddle pin would give the best clamp results, if it can be reached of course.
Is the long crank handle for the manual one an alternative to one supplied? (if it’s an option what is supplied?)
A short hand-crank comes with the package. The longer one is an option for when the lift is hanging very high, which is rare.
