  Product Description
This Zig CF9 is a solid bit of kit for anyone running a caravan, motorhome, or boat conversion who needs reliable 240v to 12v conversion and battery charging. It's got separate switches for mains 240v and your fridge supply, which means you can control what's getting power without messing about. The unit handles up to 12 amps for battery charging and provides 4.5 amps continuous for 12v conversion, making it suitable for most leisure setups. It's designed for use with 60Ah or greater leisure batteries and comes with automatic charging control that'll look after your battery without you having to think about it.

Measuring 160mm high x 205mm wide x 100mm deep, it's compact enough to fit in most electrical compartments but still packs enough grunt for serious use. The CF9 works with both caravan and motorhome electrical systems, handling everything from your lights to your water pump when you're on mains hookup. It operates on standard 220-240v mains input with 50/60hz frequency and outputs between 10-14.2 volts depending on charging mode. One thing to note - it doesn't come with a consumer unit, so you'll need to factor that into your installation if you're starting from scratch. The screw terminal connections are at the rear, making it straightforward for most competent DIYers to wire up, though as always with 240v work, get a qualified sparky involved if you're not confident.
