Purchased Maypole 6.1 m to 6.5m for compass Avantgarde 120 motorhome. With hindsight could have used size below but wanted to allow for bike rack and rooflights, boiler flue, cassette awning etc. belted & braced up nicely for winter love the extra side zips so you can access the motorhome to check round, the elasticated bottom allows for a snug fit even on the wheel areas. Viewed after rain & the beads of rain stayed on the surface just like a newly waxed vehicle. Great product for the price.

Have not actually tried my Maypole motorhome cover on yet but it's a good weight, looks & feels really good quality and I'm very pleased I bought it. Purchase and delivery was quick & easy. Good instructions are included and it came with a bag which will be very useful when the cover isn't in use.

The cover is excellent quality. We managed to fit it in about one hour, both in our 70's, wife up a ladder, oh the fun, got it in place and a bit of breeze blew it off again, second try and managed to do main zips up, once you've got to that stage the rest isn't too bad. It's a perfect fit and we just hope it will withstand our 80mph. plus gales that we get up here. Would most definitely recommend but would say you need at least two if not three folk and some patience.

Superb Motorhome Cover

This cover is for my Bessacarr E765 (7.5M) motorhome. I was determined never to have to scrub the roof clean again. The cover is very well made and comes in a handy storage bag. It is easy to put on if you start on the roof and cover the front first. Then just pull back over the rear and secure the straps. I used a long handled brush to pass the straps underneath. You can really fasten the cover securely by pulling the straps tight. If you need access you can release three of the straps, giving sufficient room to open the door. The material has a soft lining so should scratch the paintwork. We have had some gales over the last few days but the cover didn't move at all. My MH is parked under an oak tree so it will be a good test for how well it performs once we get to next spring. I'll up-date this review then.

Very easy to put on as long as you have a ladder and another person to help. So far it looks a quality product, slightly bigger than the motorhome but not a problem.
Mananaged to get cover on, before bad weather over the weekend.

Bought this for my Talbot Express 1300D, L is 5.97 mtr, W is 2.25 mtr and H is 2.7 mtr with standard over cab bed and 3 bike rack on rear. Luckily I can stand on the roof and discovered the best way to fit was to put the entire cover on the roof opened out and then get inside it to pass the front over the cab to my wife. With the two rear corners unzipped it was straightforward to then walk the entire cover to the rear of the van. Clips and straps are of a good quality and easy to attach and the entire van was covered and secured by two of us in about 40 minutes. Six weeks in and went to check the van where it is stored to discover no issues at all following some severe weather conditions. Fabric appears to be rain repellent and breathable, very happy with what was a bit of a gamble purchase.

We bought this for our autotrail apache 700. It's slightly oversize, but better that than too tight! It covers down to wheel level and after a few practices, easy to fit by myself. When in use, the motorhome remains dry and there are plenty of straps to keep it in place. Very pleased with the purchase, should have bought one years ago.
A zip out panel for the habitation door would be on my wish list for the next cover as you've pretty much got to remove it to gain entry, but that doesn't stop me recommending this one.

On first impressions it’s good value. Put cover on Motorhome today for first time and much easier that I imagined. Using all the straps I was able to get a snug fit for our 7.3 meter van. Time will tell how it stands up to a winters use.

Brilliant Cover

Over the six years we have had the motorhome I've used various methods of covering it up but all (mainly tarpaulins) are heavy and leave grey rub marks on the bodywork (hard work to clean/polish off). Tying tarpaulins down securely for our typical British windy weather has also tested my rope skills, but this Maypole Cover is just brilliant, I wish I'd invested in one six years ago. It's much lighter than Tarpaulins, soft and comes with a slightly elasticated hem to grip at the bottom, multiple clip-in straps that are easy to throw over the top to grab the other side and so easy to clip to secure. We are fortunate that we park against a 1.2m high bank so I stood on this and just undid two zips for the far side of the van then pushed the side of the cover up over onto the roof with a soft ended pole (a soft broom would do) and then pulled gently on the straps from the other side. I was able to put it on without a second person and without a step ladder. Highly recommendable and worth the investment. Oh and I've just had to pop in the van to retrieve something but getting in was so easy, no un-zipping just undo a strap and lift up the side; it's large enough to open the door without taking it off. Our van is 6.5m long so I went for the 6.5 - 7m cover; plenty of 'give' whilst remaining snug.
