Gaslow Camping Gas Adapter. for 901, 906 and 907 Cylinders.

Adapts to Calor Screw on Butane Regulator, 218649, or to butane high pressure hose, 219869, for 30mbar regulator. Thread at outlet is 21.8 mm left hand.

This Camping Gas Adaptor works in combination with the butane pigtail in modern gas installations to allow for smaller camping gas bottles (e.g. the 901, 904 or 907 cylinders) to be connected and is suitable for Campervan, Caravan and Motorhome installations.

There are two different images, as this is a popular item we source this from different suppliers and look slightly different. They are the same quality.

2 FAQs on the Camping Gaz Adapter for 901, 906 and 907 Cylinders

I have just changed from a pre 2004 motorcaravan, where I used calor propane and camping gaz bottle with their own regulators, to a new 'van with a fixed 30 mbar regulator. I therefor need to buy a 1 metre pigtail to connect directly on to each of these bottles and on to a Gaslow autochangeover head (product 01-1755). Can you supply these pigtails and the changeover head please?

The changeover valve is our part 228075. The pigtail hose for propane will be our ref. 232220 (750mm long but should be sufficient). The pigtail for the Camping Gaz bottle will be part 231188 but you will also need adaptor 216921 to connect the hose to the Camping Gaz bottle.

We're off to Italy in December for 6 weeks. What's the best arrangement for ensuring that we don't run out of gas? We cook with electricity as often as poss. We are planning to leave with 2 full 6kg cylinders of propane and we have 2 camping gas cylinders 2.72 kgs to take with us on the basis that these are available in Europe. Can you advise please on the availability of adaptors to facilitate this or if not suitable other arrangements. thank you.

I am assuming that you have a bulkhead mounted regulator in your vehicle. When your 6kg propane cylinders run out you will need hose 119869 and adaptor 116921 to allow you to operate from the Gaz bottle. Alternatively you can purchase an adaptor 137523 to allow you to use an Italian gas bottle (which you should be able to purchase locally). You will also need hose 119869 for this arrangement.

I had a Camping Gaz cylinder and wanted to take it as a spare to France for my caravan. This enables me to link the CG cylinder to the pipe that attaches to my usual regulators.

Got this for my new camper van which has a butane gas pipe and fitting but no method to connect to a Campingaz cylinder. Problem solved, to out the carry handle, fit this and connect pipe. Switch on stove and have a brew. Delivery was quick, just a few days.

Purchased for 'emergency' use in Europe if I run out of Calor Gas (would need to purchase a Gaz cylinder!!). As yet,'ve had no need to use it. Bought in conjunction with the necessary (steel) hose. Both look of good quality.

Not a lot to say about this item unless you do the same as I use them for ,except that this is a very special item in my hobby and useful for many projects concerning gas and even water. they are a bit expensive but that's life.

For too long I have panicked into taking enough gas in the caravan to France and beyond for our 6 week touring holiday - this normally results in exchanging partly used cylinders to ensure I have full cylinders before I leave the UK. This is a waste but essential as no Calor cylinder exchange exists in France. This little converter allows me to use gas available everywhere (Camping Gaz) in my caravan incase my 7kg cylinder runs out. I now have a near new 7kg plus a 907 and adaptor in the certain knowledge I can get continual refils if required. Brilliant product - cheap cost - quick service - what more can you need?

Excellent service, adaptor arrived the following day, tried in the field, it worked a treat, I now have a stand by gas supply option when travelling on the continent. Gaz 900 series cylinders are readily available throughout Europe.

This simple adapter enables me to use both Calor Gas cylinders, which are much cheaper to refill than Campingaz, but only in this country, and Campingaz cylinders as a backup when I travel to France. I can use the Calor regulator on both cylinders simply by screwing into the adapter.

I can now go caravanning in France for an extended period without having to worry about running out of calor gas. Changing from the calor butane adapter attached to the high pressure gas pipe, to the Gaslow camping gas adaptor is just a simple unbolt, rebolt job. However, check that you can remove your calor adapter from the pipe, some are permanently crimped on, as is the case with my calor propane pipe.
