1. I think we have a problem with our Gas Regulator part number TRuma 0129411. I see from other queries a problem with residues blocking the regulator is a regular problem. We have tried two different gas bottles we know have gas in, and no gas is getting through to appliances, hence we think the regulator. Does this seem correct. 2. Buying a new one - we cannot find this part number on the TRuma web-site or yours. Are the new replacements all with an elbow? 3. Should one fit a filter as well?
The replacement regulator is either part 127224 for 8mm diameter outlet piping or 127225 for 10mm diameter outlet piping. These are complete with an elbow at the inlet.
A filter is a good idea but expensive. It will prevent further failures of the regulator.
Hi I have a abbey vogue 2008. We are planning our 1st night away in it this weekend. I have tried to test the gas appliances, heater and cooker but I can't seem to get gas to them?? The bottle is full and the turned fully to open, am I missing something??? Hope you can help, Allister
You will probably need to check that you are getting gas at the outlet of the bulkhead gas regulator. If not then you will need to replace the regulator. These have a tendency to fail due to oil deposits from the gas.
2004 Sterling Europa 500 has developed low gas pressure. Full gas bottle. Regulator mounted on bulkhead seems to have no references other than Truma. Silver with yellow on/off tap. How can I identify correct replacement part and could I easily fit this myself or is it vital to have a fully qualified "gas" person to do it?
The truma regulator has packed up. You would need to know if it is an 8mm or 10mm outside diameter of outlet pipe in order to know which one to purchase. If the caravan is rented for profit then the installer must be gas safe registered, if it is used for personal use the fitter must be gas competent.

Truma Gas Regulator 30 Mbar, 8mm Outlet.
I replaced a failed regulator with this one - only difference being the right angle connector at the top instead of the vertical - designed to stop any fluids dropping down into the regulator and causing it to fail. I now have a gentle downward slope from the regulator to the gas bottle so hopefully no more regulator failures................. time will tell. Great service from Leisureshopdirect though - rapid delivery - no issues with them at all.

I replaced a 2006 type bulkhead regulator with the new type, after some poor gas pressure issues. Old ones can give problems after some years due to the mounting position being below the gas outlet from the bottle.
It is a straight swap with the original but I mounted it as high as possible in the front locker as per new model caravans.
You just require a small length of straight pipe and a straight connector, all supplied by Leisureshop direct. Every part you could ever want and Great service.
