I have a 2005 Abbey Vogue GTS 420 caravan. This summer the water heater stopped working on electric hook up but does work on gas. Is there a thermal reset?

If you follow the cable from the side of the waterheater you will hopefully find a jack plug about 500mm from the waterheater, if you pull this plug apart and count to 30 and then plug it back in again it will reset the element.
