View description
Outwell Earth 2 Tent 2025 is a compact tunnel tent built for two-person trips where weight and pack size matter. It’s aimed at hikers, cyclists or anyone who needs a reliable, no-fuss shelter for wild camping or weekend getaways. At just 3.7kg with a 56 x 18cm pack size, the Outwell Earth 2 Tent 2025 fits easily in a pannier, backpack or car boot. The tunnel design gives you a separate sleeping area and a small front storage porch for boots and bags. It pitches flysheet first or as one, taking around 7 minutes to fully set up. For shorter stops, you can be moved in within 3 minutes. A sewn-in bathtub groundsheet keeps out draughts and crawling insects, with taped seams and a hydrostatic head of 3000mm to keep you dry.

You get a surprising amount of comfort for such a small tent. The inner bedroom has darkened fabric to reduce early morning light, plus mesh pockets for storing small kit. Ventilation can be adjusted at the back of the Outwell Earth 2 Tent 2025 to suit the conditions, helping reduce condensation. The outer is made from Outtex 3000 Select with UPF 30+ UV protection and PFC-free water repellency. The flexible 7.9mm Duratec fibreglass poles help keep the weight down without compromising on strength. WindGuard system 2.0 gives extra stability in blustery conditions, especially useful for exposed pitches or coastal trips.

Outwell Earth 2 Tent 2025 is also a decent option as an annex for larger family tents, if your kids need a bit of space to themselves. The carry bag with shoulder straps makes it easy to move from car to pitch. You can fold the porch groundsheet under when not needed to keep things cleaner. This is a solid, no-nonsense tent with just enough extras to make life easier, especially if you’re often pitching quickly or in less-than-ideal weather. A reliable companion for solo and duo campers who want quick pitching, light weight and solid shelter.

Features at a Glance
Hanging StorageNo A flexible hanging system which allows you to easily attach lighting or storage in your tent living area. Items of up to 1.5Kg can be conveniently hung along this beading rail, usually by a hook system.
Hydrostatic Head (mm)3000The hydrostatic head of a fabric indicates how well it can keep water out and how waterproof it is. The higher the number, the better! A tent needs to have at least 1000mm HH for light showers, heavy rain and driving wind will put more pressure on the fabric and would therefore require a higher HH of 2000mm. Anything higher than this figure means it can keep out water being pushed through by someone leaning against it for example.
MaterialPolyesterMost tents are made from different denier polyester, which is a lightweight, very waterproof material. Polycotton is a heavier fabric, that breathes well allowing campers to stay cooler in sunnier climates. It is also very good at reducting condensation inside the tent.
Number of Bedrooms1This is the number of sectioned off bedrooms that are included in this tent. The standard industry allowance is 60cm per person, though larger or premium tents often provide more space.
Persons2Tent berth indicates how many people your tent can accommodate for sleeping. The industry standard allocates about 60cm of width per occupant, though exact dimensions can vary by manufacturer. If you prefer extra elbow room, you may want a tent berth larger than your headcount. Many campers size up by one or two berths to improve comfort on longer trips.
Pole constructionPoled (Fibreglass)This is whether the poles are inflatable (air) or rigid (e.g - fibreglass / steel or aluminium).
Porch AreaNoA porch area gives campers a lot of extra room, that can be used as a wet zone (drying off before entering the main living space), storage of all your outside gear overnight, or as a place to cook and dine or a great area for your family dog to sleep. It adds a lot of versatility to your camping lifestyle.
Weight (kg)3.60This is the weight of the tent in kg.
Wing AreaNoAn additional wing area can be very useful as it can be used as an extra bedroom area, storage of toys and camping equipment or as a place to put a comfy inflatable sofa, so you can sit back and read your favourite book. Alternatively, it is an ideal spot for the family dog to sleep.
