The Truma Therme was designed for vehicles where space is at a premium. It uses the warm air from the blown air installation to convect warmth into the water.In addition it has a 300w electric heating element (230v) to enable the water to be heated using site electricity. If no blown air system exists, the Therme can also be installed on its own as an electric only water heater. A 4 way electric splitter box ECAC7210 or equivalent will be required for electrical connection.

This heater was to replace an already fitted heater in my caravan that was leaking. I was after just the heater but could only find one that was complete with the on/off control. The price from this supplier was the best I could find after a quite a bit of searching. Although working as it should, I think that Truma are way overpriced. When you see the quality of the product. Still, they are the only ones to fit so we are a captive audience.

For:- Easy to fit, wiring and pipework straight forward. Heats up quicker than the 50 minutes advertised.

Against:- All that stopped me giving 5 stars was the fact that all connections are10mm and tap fittings 12mm so every run has to have a reducer fitted.
