I have a Thetford C-250 CWE toilet fitted to a 2009 Lunar. The toilet has started flushing on it's own, looking at previous post this could be the electric valve can you confirm.? Also when I was investigating the problem I think I have inadvertently disconnected something else looks like (item 14 on the blown up diagram), how do I get inside to reconnect it.?

The fault is going to be with the control plate, our ref 237058. When you remove the control plate you can access the item 14. However item 14 is a vacuum breaker and unlikely to be at fault.

Hi We bailey verona with thetford c250 sometimes the push button sticks and sometimes comes on by itself part no 50709 this must be common because people on site same van same problems ? Regards Steve Wait

Hi Adrian

The most common fault is that circuit board, so that would be the first part I would try. Before you replace it, it would be worth checking for corrosion on the plugs that attach to the board. If this part does not solve the problem you will need to replace the pump.

I have a Thetford 250 CWE toilet that has stopped flushing. I am reasonable certain it the PCB in the top of the tank, as if I remove this and run a 12v supply through the connector the pumps works OK. Can you tell me what part no to order.

My caravan flush stopped working, so after checking the pump I realised it was the pcb that needed replacing. I bought the Thetford Control SN for the Thetford c-250 and it was a very easy replacement. It’s a genuine part and easy instructions to follow. Flush is now working.

So Far so good, Has solved the problem with the Flush that stopped working and blew the fuse. Refitting was easy. Understand from other reviews that this may have a short life. the previous unit has lasted 9 years so cannot complain.

I bought this item as the flush function on my Thetford C-250 had failed ( I had proved that the flush-pump was OK via other means). however the description: control SN is not clear for this item, the on-line picture ought to show its flip side i.e. the PCB. Nevertheless the fitting guide was 1st class and worked first time, also the item was very good value for money
