Great Buy

by SJR (11 Feb 2010)
4 star review(4/5)
We recently bought a second hand caravan with a working but rather grubby Truma water pump. We replaced it with a Whale Crystal Plug-Hose Pump Hi-Flow EP1622. In comparison the whale pump produces a much better flow. The only thing I would like to see improved is the arrangement at the pump end of the electrical lead. In both the Carver and the Whale the shroud pipe is not sealed at the pump end, making it impossible to clean properly. Had it been sealed I would have given it 5 stars.

I will probably clean the old Truma after first discarding the pipe shrouding the cable. It will then be kept as spare despite its crummy flow.
