3’trailer Light Board

This light board is basic but has everything to allow you to adapt to your own needs. I found that one of the bulbs was broken, but I simply replaced it with one from the board that I was replacing. The end seal are loose, which is a good thing since removing the ends allows one to see inside where the wires are. This allows you to drill the board to mount it to your trailer and to fix your number plates. The end seals can be refined with a little silicone.

Does a great job at what it does. Very simple, but not very sturdy. The main board is a flimsy extruded plastic with a couple of plastic caps on the ends that are easily knocked off. You just need to be careful when attaching the number plate and attaching it to the trailer. And maybe a bit of glue on the end caps would be wise. But for less than £15 you can't really complain.

Used for small trailer for car. Original lights had rusted/corroded. No holes for fitting but you can drill your own. Number plate easily fixed to it by adhesive strips.

How easy was it to fit? just drill bolt on and plug in. This is my second one the first lasted so long and had some rough treatment before i broke one lens and replaced the plug twice . Sometimes its easier to just buy a new one for the proce of a plug and new lens i bought a new borad and had less hassle.

Bought to replace old kayak trailer lighting set. Great value for money item, not sure how they can offer it at the price as the individual components cost more than the complete unit. Reasonably robust base board though care should be taken to avoid cables when drilling through for fixings. The end plates are loose but can be easily fixed in place with a s s self tapping screw. Would have given 5 star rating but one light casing was cracked and should have been noticed before despatch. Very well packaged for delivery so damage did not occur during transit.

The Trailer board is value for money.
It is not top of the range, the parts are cost effective.
No problems with it at all.
Very quick delivery, on time and the Trailer board was accurately described.
If you do not want to spend upwards of £40-60 on a top quality one then this will not disappoint.
I would buy another one if the need arose.

Delivered promptly fully functioning I can't believe it's so cheap. It seems nicely made, there was a slight crease in the plastic bar but not worth worrying about. My wife seemed concerned that the reversing lights aren't duplicated but I don't see that as an issue.

I am very pleased with this. Now that the number plate is stuck on it is easy to see which way round to mount it and avoid confusing right and rift indicators! Just right for when we have bicycles on the back of the car and need an extra trailer board.

Needed a quick fix for some faulty trailer lights and these do the job terrifically.
I'd like to say that I'll get round to installing the lights & wire off this board to replace the existing ones but I can see that I'll continue using them attached to this board for years to come.

Trailer lights were old and corroded, manafacturers replacement would have cost arm and leg, best solution was a light board for 16 quid, I trimmed a bit of each end to enable permanent fixing to trailer, this lightboard is better quality than I expected for 16 quid, what a fantastic well made item, I am VERY, VERY, pleased with it

Generally very happy with this. It does what it says it will, it came quickly and is pretty good quality.
The lights are good and work, the board itself is fairly lightwight plastic and is hollow, not sure quite what I expected, perhaps something a little more sturdy, but realistically light is good and it does the job.
I probably would have given it 4.5 stars as it would have been nice to have some fixings supplied, to fit a number plate, even if this was just a few foam stickers. In fairness they don't mention this in the description and so I am happy to give 5 stars, but I didn't consider this until it arrived and so I am giving everyone a head up.
Incidentally in the end I found some old bolts and just drilled through the plate and board, it was really easy.

Bought this item for a birthday present for my son's trailer. Needed urgently and was received within 2 days.The item was just what we needed and although this was packed well with plenty of bubble wrap and packaging one of the lights had been damaged in transit by the carrier. I telephoned the supplier and was told a replacement would be in the post that day from the manufacturer themselves. This did take a little longer to arrive and subsequently missed my son's birthday but as far as the product is concerned there is no reason not to order the item as it is a good price to pay.

Comes with the standard N seven pin connector. If you don't have a towbar you probably don't have the matching connector, so will need to source that as well - possibly from a dealer. Newer cars often have a kit you can buy and just plug in. You need to get your own number plate made up (take your V5C with you to Halfords, etc.) and you will need to sort out how to attach the plate to the board (double-sided tape) and to the bikes (bungee cords or straps).

Care needs to be taken when drilling fitting holes so as not to damage the plastic board. Fitting to my trailer was a simple matter. The cable is about a metre longer than it needs to be.

This light board was required for a tow-bar mounted bike carrier. It is simple and being plastic, is impervious to the weather. Cable was too long but was easily shortened - however, be careful to note the connections before disconnecting the plug.
