The Provence Gas Heater is a portable flueless 3.4KW gas stove with real flame (please note the red colour is 3KW). The Provence gas heater does not require a chimney or flue and has full electronic ignition and runs from a 7kg or 15kg gas cylinder. The provence fire features a living flame and log-set and would really compliment your room, giving it a warm and cosy feeling.

The Provence portable gas fire requires no chimney or flue. What’s more, there is no mains gas connection required meaning that the fire is fully portable. There is no installation or assembly required either. Simply connect to a gas cylinder and start to enjoy this effective heater. Universal Innovations has recently improved the hinge system on the lid making it easier to access the temperature controls. It is very easy to switch on and control the temperature with the electronic push button ignition and temperature gauge. If you are not looking at the huge investment of a log burning stove then this is a great alternative.

The provence heater can help save costs on central heating. Instead of heating up the whole house, you can keep the heating off for periods and have one cosy room using this gas fire. It is suitable for rooms greater than 64 cubic metres.

For safety it has a flame failure device and is also fitted with oxygen depletion cut off which shuts the product off if carbon dioxide levels room rise above 1.5%. This product weighs 42KG boxed. It is available in a range of great colours including Matt Black, Gloss Black, Cream, Honey Glow Brown, Burgundy Red & Atlantic Blue.

This Provence gas heater is not suitable to be used in the following locations; a bedroom, a bathroom, a shower room, a hairdressing salon, a basement or private garage. It is also not suitable to be used in a boat or leisure vehicle. If used in a family environment extra care should be taken to protect the elderly, the less able bodied, children and pets. When used in a work place, a suitable risk assessment should be carried out. Care should be taken not to place combustible materials in close proximity to the heater.

Does the provence heater come with coal or log effect where the flame is burning?

The latest provence fires come with a log effect real flame but this can be replaced by the coals. This would require an additional purchase.

How long does the Provence Heater last on a gas bottle?

If you fit a 15 kg gas bottle to your Provence heater, it can run up to 105 hours before the bottle needs replacing.

What warranty does the Provence heater come with?

The Provence gas heater comes with a 2 year manufacturers warranty. We have been selling the provence heaters for a number of years and have seen very few returns due to manufacturing issues.

What size gas bottles does the Provence gas heater take?

You can use either a 7kg or 15kg gas bottle. The heater comes fitted with a 21mm hose and regulator.

Please can you tell me where the on/off switch is located?

Thank you for your question. The on/off switch is located on top of the Gas Stove Heater. It is discreetly placed under the grated lid that you can easily lift up to gain access.

We love our new fire; it is very easy to light, doesn't smell of gas, is very cozy, and gets lovely and hot. I am looking forward to winter this year to feel the effect even more. Oh, and it looks beautiful.

Looks stunning in the fireplace but being on wheels it can be moved. Looks like a multi fuel stove especially as you can't see the gas switch or cylinder. It warms the room up really quickly.

Looks Just Like The Real Thing

We bought this heater as a back up in case we have a power cut in the winter. Not only is it very efficient it looks great as well.
It weighs a ton , but as its on wheels this isn't a problem unless you have to carry it up steps. I love the way the gas canister is completely encased and out of sight.

Had this all winter and is cute and cosy,quick and clean.I have had log fires and they look better but this is so easy and practical in comparison.Everyone who has seen it like it and I don"t think they are just being polite

I have one of theese heaters one year now and i love it its very effective for heating my livingroom i have economy7 heating (useless)and i switch it on in the evening when i come home to top up my heating level. It looks like a real wood burner when set to max the only down side to it is it does use more gas than my last super sur but then it does give out more heat and as with all these type of heaters and cookers there is a very slight smell its not bad or very apparent but then a real coal or wood burning fire does smell to and it would not put me off recomending this item well built and looks fantastic
