The socket is easy to fit, just a little fidaly with the wires as you have to take it appart, it is allso a good price from LeisureshopDirect, with a very good and quick delivery time, am pleased with the whole experience.

Powerpart 13amp Outlet Socket

Bought Powerpart 13amp Outlet Socket as a replacement for previous external socket. the quality appears similar but different style external cover hinge pins (plastic instead of metal) will hopefully mean corrosion isn't an issue (it was for the previous one).
I'd had to remove the actual socket from the housing during fitting. Captive nuts on back of socket housing would make refitting easier unless you have Mr Tickle's long arms to be able to simultaneously turn screw and hold nut in place. Fortunately I found a willing stranger nearby to assist. (This wasn't an issue with the previous housing). Overall, does the job. Design changes are one step forward and one step back.
Enough about the socket. Delivery time was excellent and product received in good order.
