  Product Description
The Eberspächer AS3 D2L Airtronic internal diesel heater kit provides cabin heating for VW T5, T5.1, T6, and T6.1 campervans through interior mounting rather than external chassis installation. This German-engineered system mounts directly inside your van's living space, delivering 850W to 2,200W of controllable heat output whilst consuming just 0.10-0.28 litres of diesel per hour. The complete kit includes the internal heater unit, dedicated mounting bracket, EasyStart Pro controller, battery wiring loom, fuel pickup system, exhaust components, and ducting with all necessary fittings.

Internal mounting offers several advantages over external systems including easier access for maintenance, protection from road debris, and simplified installation without requiring underneath vehicle work. The brushless motor design provides up to 5,000 operating hours, whilst the improved heat exchanger delivers 105m³/h airflow volume throughout your conversion. The EasyStart Pro controller enables remote temperature adjustment from anywhere inside your camper, with sensor-controlled startup sequences that adapt to cabin conditions for optimal efficiency.

This internal heating system operates on your van's 12V electrical supply, drawing between 6W and 31W depending on heat output settings. The interior mounting position makes this kit particularly suitable for DIY installations, though professional fitting remains recommended for fuel and exhaust connections. One consideration with internal mounting is that the unit does occupy some interior space compared to underfloor alternatives. The complete system weighs 15kg and carries Eberspächer part number 29.2113.30.0005.
