Product Description

Fiamma bike covers are designed to protect your bicycles from rain, road spray, dirt and UV exposure during transit on your motorhome or caravan. The range covers five distinct versions across two product lines: the Bike Cover S series for standard protection with an adjustable bungee and hook closure, and the Bike Cover Premium S series for a fully enclosed solution with self-lubricating side zippers that wrap completely around the bikes. All covers use waterproof polyester fabric in a restyled two-tone grey finish, and all are designed to work with Fiamma Carry Bike racks. The covers also include a transparent pocket on the rear to hold the mandatory reflective warning signal plate (sold separately).

What's the difference between Fiamma Bike Cover S and Bike Cover Premium S?

The Bike Cover S (08845-01- for 2/3 bikes, 08845D01- for 4 bikes) uses 210D waterproof polyester fabric with an elastic base and hook closure system. It's a practical, lightweight cover that fits over bikes from the top down and fastens securely underneath. The Bike Cover Premium S (08845B01- for 4 bikes, 08208B01- for 2/4 bikes) steps up to 300D reinforced polyester with self-lubricating side zippers that form a complete enclosure around the bikes. You fit the Premium S before loading the bikes onto the rack. Both 4-bike variants cover wheels up to 29 inches. Neither the S nor the Premium S covers are suitable for offset-rail bike racks, so check your Carry Bike model before ordering.

The Bike Cover Caravan (08208C01-) is a separate product entirely, designed specifically for caravan use rather than motorhomes. It uses Fiamma's K-Way system, which is a dedicated fitment method designed for the Carry Bike Caravan XLA and XLA Pro 300 racks. Made from reinforced polyester and weighing just 0.8kg, it closes with an elastic band and push lock, and covers up to 2 bikes. If you're towing a caravan rather than driving a motorhome, this is the correct version to choose, as the standard S and Premium S covers are designed for motorhome rack configurations.

Fiamma Bike Cover Premium S : This bike cover is suitable for centralised Bike Racks but not models with off set rails. For example, not suitable for van conversions with rear double doors.
Fiamma Bike Cover : This bike cover is not suitable for racks where the bikes sit higher than the roof and not for bike racks with off-set rails.

The first fitting is a little awkward - possibly needs clearer instructions. Also may be small for three adult bikes. Otherwise a good product currently keeping the seasonal Highland rain at bay.
