The Fiamma Quick Safe is a sliding safety lock strap designed specifically for securing bicycle wheels to Fiamma Carry-Bike reinforced rails. Sold as a single piece, it slots into the base of the rail and slides along to the required position, gripping the wheel firmly without the need for tools or fiddly adjustment. Which Fiamma Carry-Bike rails is the Quick Safe strap compatible with?


The Fiamma Quick Safe strap (part number 98656B386) is compatible with the Rail Plus, Rail Quick Pro, and Rail Quick reinforced rails only. It cannot be fitted to Rail Premium rails, which use a different integrated locking system. It slides into the base channel of the rail and locks the wheel securely in transit, with a one-click release for fast loading and unloading.

If you've picked up a secondhand motorhome or caravan with a Fiamma bike rack already fitted, these are the straps that are most likely to need replacing. The originals that come supplied with Rail Quick Pro rails are identical to this part, so it's a like-for-like swap. The sliding mechanism means you're not restricted to a fixed wheel position on the rail, which is handy when you're mixing different wheel sizes across the rack. People running wider-tyred bikes, including hybrid and mountain bikes, find the Quick Safe works well where older fabric straps struggled to reach.
