The Fiamma Bike Block Pro D2 Black (04133F01A) works as a wheel stabiliser for motorhome and caravan bike racks, stopping your bikes from swaying during travel. It adjusts from 16cm to 63cm, so you can position it to fit different bike spacings on your Carry-Bike rack. The adjustable arms lock into multiple positions, letting you set the exact distance needed between your bikes' front wheels. This black version matches most Fiamma rack colours and uses a simple twist-lock mechanism that you can operate with one hand.

You'll want this if you're carrying two or more bikes on a Fiamma Carry-Bike rack and notice them knocking together on bumpy roads. The Pro D2 slots into the rail system on Fiamma racks (the same channel where you mount bike arms) and creates a physical barrier between wheels. It's particularly useful when you're mixing different bike types - like a mountain bike next to a road bike - where frame shapes mean wheels naturally sit close together. The 47cm adjustment range means you can space bikes as tightly or widely as your rack allows.

Fitting takes about two minutes once you've worked out the right position for your bikes. Slide it into the rack rail, extend the arms to the distance you need, then tighten the locking collar. The unit weighs roughly 800g and doesn't need tools for installation or adjustment. It'll work with most Fiamma Carry-Bike models made after 2010, including the Carry-Bike Pro, Carry-Bike XL, and Carry-Bike UL ranges. Check your rack has the standard C-profile rail - older racks from before 2008 used a different mounting system that won't accept this block.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Fiamma bike racks does the Bike Block Pro D2 fit?
The Bike Block Pro D2 Black fits all Fiamma Carry-Bike racks with the standard C-profile rail system, including Carry-Bike Pro, Carry-Bike XL Pro, Carry-Bike UL, and most models manufactured after 2010. It slides into the same mounting rail used for the bike arms. Racks made before 2008 used a different profile and won't accept this block. If your rack has the flat rail with the distinctive C-shaped channel running along it, the Pro D2 will fit.
How do I know what length to set the Bike Block Pro D2?
Load your bikes onto the rack as you normally would, then measure the gap between the front wheels where they naturally sit. The Pro D2 should extend to fill most of this gap, leaving about 2-3cm clearance on each side so the wheels aren't forced apart. If you're carrying bikes with very different wheel sizes, position the block so it contacts the larger wheel first. You can adjust it while installed by loosening the twist-lock collar, extending or retracting the arms, then tightening again.
Can I use multiple Bike Block Pro D2 units on one rack?
Yes, if you're carrying three or four bikes on a Carry-Bike rack, you can fit two Bike Block Pro D2 units to separate all the wheels. Each block works independently, so you can set different extension lengths for different bike spacings. The rail system has enough space for two blocks plus the standard bike mounting arms on most three-bike and four-bike Carry-Bike models.
Does the Bike Block Pro D2 work with electric bikes?
The Bike Block Pro D2 works with electric bikes as long as your Fiamma rack is rated for the weight. The block itself just separates wheels and doesn't carry any bike weight. Electric bikes tend to be heavier and can shift more during travel, so the block becomes particularly useful for stopping their wheels from hitting lighter bikes. Make sure your Carry-Bike model is rated for e-bike weights before loading them.
Will the Bike Block Pro D2 damage my bike wheels or tyres?
The Pro D2 has smooth contact points that rest against tyre sidewalls without sharp edges or excessive pressure. It doesn't clamp or squeeze the tyres, it simply provides a buffer between wheels. The arms are made from reinforced plastic that won't mark or scratch wheel rims. As long as you don't over-tighten the extension to force wheels apart, the block won't cause any tyre or wheel damage during normal use.
Can I leave the Bike Block Pro D2 fitted when the rack is empty?
You can leave it fitted, though most people remove it when not carrying bikes because it adds unnecessary weight and wind resistance. The Pro D2 slides out of the rail in seconds without tools, so there's no real benefit to leaving it mounted permanently. If you do leave it on, retract the arms fully and make sure the locking collar is tight so nothing rattles or vibrates loose during travel.
