Just The Job

Bought this caravan top cover for our motorhome as it is a panel van so the roof profile at the front is more caravan-shaped. As it is narrower than a caravan there is a good length of fabric down the sides so the tops of the windows are covered. This does however create pockets of slack which are remedied by twisting together and holding with a cable tie. It coped admirably in storm Darragh as we live on the side of a west facing hill so it had a good test. Enough light comes through the cover to still activate a little solar charging. The fittings on the roof e.g. roof lights, tv aerial, satellite dish and wind out awning don’t cause any issues. All in all a good economical solution for outdoor winter storage.

It arrived quickly and is exactly as described for the Caravan Top Cover.
Going to be far easier to put on than a full cover, so really pleased with this product. The cost was cheaper than elsewhere, so pleased to save a bit more too.

We bought this caravans cover and its currently covering a Swift Merlin 2 berth which is about 6m long front to back (but remember the roof length is shorter). It overhangs front, back and sides so could likely cover a longer length.
The cover arrived, and I have to say, was a learning experience to start off with. A proper pain to try and put over the caravan. Then Eureka! Use a brush/long handled car wash brush to lift it over as you are fitting it. Lift over the caravan tv aerial etc while another person helps pull it across the roof.
First time fitting this probably took about an hour. Getting all the straps the right length and struggling to pull it over the roof. Subsequently with the little tip above, and the straps already the correct lengths, I think we can do it in 10 minutes.
Quality wise its not the thickest, but it has stood up to some decent wind and rain no problem. The best bit (and why we bought it) was the keep the bird muck off the caravan roof (parked under trees) as it was driving me crazy.
I would recommend and buy again without hesitation.

Very pleased doing the job intended for, but.......could be improved by having extra strap in middle of front and back.
But overall good product.

I am writing this review whilst looking out of the window at my caravan with the cover firmly on. I have to say that this was one of the easier covers i have had to use. the elastic securing ropes give the feel that once on the cover is not going anywhere. I liked that fact that the material was very light weight which made putting on caravan alot easier than some of these heavy material ones. Its quite blustery at the moment and the cover does not look like it budging. very pleased with the product.

We bought this as we wanted to cover the roof only with a cover, until we get a small leak repaired.
The cover fits very well and there are more than enough cables and bungys in the pack to make sure it is tied down well.
You will need 2 people in order to fit it. I tried on my own but ended up calling for help
so far it has been through 2 storms and it hasn't moved, although it is at the side of the house, not in the open.

Excellent product. We were going to buy a full cover originally, but after a bit of research, decided this was the better option, as it protects the vital areas but lets the caravan breathe. It has stayed put during all the bad weather and has given us piece of mind that all is ok.
