The Fiamma Safe Door Frame 3 is a security solution designed specifically for motorhome and caravan doors where interior furniture or fittings prevent the installation of through-wall mounted locks. This frame-mounted version fixes directly to the door frame using self-tapping screws, requiring only a 3mm gap between the door and door jamb. The pack includes three locks, all keyed alike with the same barrel and key number (Fiamma part number 08022-02), making it straightforward to secure your habitation door, garage compartment, and gas locker without juggling multiple keys.

What's the minimum gap required between the door and frame?
You need at least 3mm clearance between your door and door jamb for the Safe Door Frame to function properly. If your gap is smaller or larger than ideal, Fiamma sells a spacer kit containing one aluminium plate and three 2mm spacers that can be used to adjust the fit. This spacer kit is compatible with Safe Door models made after 2017.
