Product Description

Milenco High have taken a classic designed High Security Steering Wheel Lock which was originally approved to the Thatcham standard and completely reengineered it, to enhance its security, so it would pass and exceed the Sold Secure Gold Automotive standard, which is 2 and half times tougher than the Thatcham Standard.

This is the yellow version. For the silver version please see the bottom.

Following the termination of the Thatcham security standard, which was only 120 second attack tested, the Milenco High Security Steering Wheel has now been approved to the Gold Sold Secure standard which is far tougher test with an extreme 300 second professional attack.

It is a highly visible and powerful theft deterrent.

We are confident this is the strongest and most secure steering lock ever made. It has a unique innovative design, that allows for fast and easy fitment in just a few seconds. It comes with 3 x High Security keys which are both durable and highly reliable.

Milenco Quality
It has exceptional quality features which include the best pick-proof, ultra-high security with a built in locking mechanism, steel construction to resist from sawing and freezing. The locking mechanism has been re-engineered making it far easier to line up and consequently much easier to fit.

The Milenco High Security Steering Wheel Lock comes complete with 3 keys and fits all vehicle steering wheels.

Spare keys are available. (Please ensure you make a note of the key number).

Easy To Use

by Paul Kustow (16 Dec 2024)

(5/5)

Difficult to rate, other than confirm it is so easy to apply and remove and seems to be high quality. I guess I’ll never know if it has worked as a deterrent to car thieves and I hope I ever find out if it has stopped a thief after breaking into my car. I deliberately chose the garish yellow version over the much smarter silver option, so that potential thieves would see it before trying to break in and steal my car.
I deliberately chose a Milenco steering wheel lock having used many of their excellent products during my caravanning days, now long gone.

good lock, nice & solid. A little on the short side for my vw transporter maybe should have bought the bigger one. I do have to turn the steering a quarter turn to have a good fit onto the steering wheel bars, which is best practice to turn into the curb. Like any device it will deter the amateur chancer & may slow a pro down enough to give up or get scared off. definitely better than most.

Does The Job.

by Tim (14 Sep 2024)

It does what it says on the tin and in the week I have been using it there have been no problems. It is quite heavy and the only place to keep it is in the passenger foot well but at least the car is safer.

DETERRANT FOR THE CAR THIEVES

by MR LEN GREASLY (12 Sep 2024)

(5/5)

I BOUGHT THE MILENCO HIFH SECURITY STEERING LOCK FOLLOWING THE THEFT OF MY CAR AND ITS REPLACEMENT. I LOOKED FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS RECOMMENDED AND HAD ACCREDITATION. ON RECEIPT I WAS STRUCK BY ITS CONSTRUCTION. FITTING ON THE CAR IS EASY ALTHOUGH IT SEEMS RATHER LOOSE ON THE STEERING WHEEL. IT DOES GIVE A VERY VISUAL INDICATION THAT THE CAR HAS SOME THEFT PROTECTION. WHILST I WOULD RATHER NOT HAVE TO PURCHASE AND USE SUCH AN ITEM IT WILL, I'M SURE, HAVE A DETERRENT EFFECT ON THIEVES.

Milenco Steering Wheel Lock

by A Whittle (04 Sep 2024)

(5/5)

The Milenco Steering Wheel Lock is easy to use, unlock it place it on the steering wheel and twist the black handle to lock into place!
It was recommended to me by a family member who’s vehicle had an attempted theft, the Milenco Steering Wheel Lock was a major factor in his vehicle not being stolen as it is impossible to steer whilst this lock is in use! The only downside is that it’s slightly heavier than I had expected although this adds to strength of the item!

Milenco Steering Wheel Lock

by MichaelM (22 Aug 2024)

This lock seems to be very well made and very sturdy. I have just bought a car that I feel would be a target for car thieves so I wanted an additional (and visible) deterrent.
It is very easy to fit and remove (if you have the key:-) ) Also it can be left in the open position and fitted without using the key. As far as I'm concerned the easier it is to fit the more likely I am to use it even for short stops.
My only gripe is that I could not fit it at the bottom of my wheel where I wanted to. This is due to the shape of my wheel not the lock. However on reflection it is better at the top as it is clearly visible. If you can see the car you can see the lock (my car is white).
I would definitely recommend the Milenco High security Steering Wheel lock.
