  Product Description
This is suitable for motorbikes, cars, vans, caravans and motorhomes. It is a 4A 6/12V electronic smart charger fully automatic dual voltage smart charger recommended for a wide range of vehicles up to 2.5L (2500cc).

This 4 Amp electronic battery charger ensures by itself that you don't overcharge and damage your vehicle's battery. It is fully automatic, meaning it will diagnose, recover, charge and maintain batteries for months. It is also MCU (Microcontroller Unit) operated, allowing you to easily interact with the charger in a comfortable manner whilst protecting the battery against user errors. In addition, this battery charger offers overheat protection, protection against short circuit and wrong connections and is also spark proof.

1 FAQ on the Maypole 7423A Electronic Smart Battery Charger (4A 12V)

Do I connect both the round clips to the battery posts or does the "negative" clip have to connect to somewhere on the chassis?
When using the ring terminal connecting lead, the negative lead can be directly connected to the battery post. When fitting this lead to the battery, it should be disconnected from the battery charger and the protective cap should be fitted to the in-line terminals. When connecting to this lead to the charger, the charger should not be connected to the mains. This is to avoid causing sparks near to the battery when making the connection.
