  Product Description
Herzim Strip 110 is commonly used with aluminium mouldings to cover fixing screws (screw cover strip). Available in black, cream, grey, maroon, silver, white, beige, green and navy blue. Nominally 12mm wide when fitted. Used as aesthetic trim in aluminium and other channels in Caravans and Motorhomes and various other applications.

Maximum length available in cherry is 50m length in one continuous strip. The others are available up to 100m in one continuous length.

PRICED PER METRE BUT CUT TO 1 CONTINUOUS LENGTH AS ORDERED IF MORE THAN 1M NEEDED SIMPLY INCREASE THE QUANTITY ONCE IN YOUR BASKET.

This 12mm strip is identical profile to the one I replaced, but is softer to feel and easier to fit properly. No need for hot water bucket and s it just pops in nicely.

Had to wait a week for delivery but the company let me know that there would be a delay. The product is maleable when warm and fairly easy to insert and looks great. I'll now need to order some more to brighten up the rest of my caravan.

The cover strip on my old compass calypso was looking quite sad and tatty. Replaced over a few days in warm weather. Found the best way was to pull out the old piece measure against it and add about a foot on longer pieces. Clean the channel out with a brush. Start In the centre on long bits and don't try to pull it round you will only stretch it and come winter time it will have shrunk and you will have gaps. I tried using a blunt flat bladed screwdriver to ease it in but found the best way was using half of a wooden clothes peg. It doesn't mark the plastic. Work about 6 inches in at a time then you won't stretch it. Going around curves is no problem. The more I did the easier it got. 10 minutes to do a complete door frame. Very pleased with results.
