The Lock 'n' Level Motorhome & Camper air levelling system is the brand's first dedicated solution for vans up to 3.5 tonnes, developed after years of customer requests for a motorhome-specific version of the well-known caravan air leveller. You drive onto the deflated pad, connect any standard 12v tyre pump (or even a foot pump), and inflate to lift the wheel up to 5.5"/14cm. When it's time to leave, the deflation valve releases the air in seconds and you drive straight off. Supplied as a pack of two with protective rubber mats, the kit replaces the bulky plastic chocks most owners currently lug around in a rear locker.

How does the LocknLevel Motorhome & Camper handle the lack of corner steadies on a motorhome?


The patented dual-bag design includes built-in stabilisation that compensates for the absence of corner steadies, which is the reason earlier LocknLevel models weren't recommended for motorhomes. Each leveller weighs 2.9kg, measures 51 x 33cm, and inflates to a maximum of 30 psi, giving a stable platform without the bounce associated with single-bag air systems.

The inflation chamber is built from nylon-reinforced, UV-resistant polypropylene, with zinc-plated steel hardware, nickel-plated brass valves and stainless steel bolts throughout. It works on grass, gravel and hard standing thanks to the protective rubber mats supplied in the box, and the footprint of the bag is wider than a typical motorhome tyre, which helps stop the unit sinking on soft ground. Maximum recommended tyre width is 255mm, and the system uses a standard car tyre valve so any 12v compressor, foot pump or service-station airline will inflate it.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Will the LocknLevel Motorhome & Camper cause my van to bounce like the caravan version?
No. The motorhome-specific version uses a patented dual-bag design with built-in stabilisation, engineered to compensate for the lack of corner steadies on a motorhome or campervan. Earlier single-bag LocknLevels weren't recommended for motorhomes for this reason, but the dual-bag motorhome model has been developed through multiple design iterations to eliminate the bounce issue.
What is the maximum vehicle weight for the LocknLevel Motorhome & Camper?
The maximum recommended van weight is 3.5 tonnes. The system will raise vans up to that weight by 5.5"/14cm, dependent upon the van's weight and weight distribution. Heavier vans above 3.5t will see less lift from the maximum 30 psi pressure and aren't recommended for this product.
What pump do I need to inflate the LocknLevel Motorhome & Camper?
Any pump used to inflate a car tyre will work. The LocknLevel uses a standard car tyre valve and inflates at low pressure with a maximum of 30 psi, so a 12v compressor, foot pump or even a service-station airline will all do the job. A pump is not included with the product.
Can the LocknLevel Motorhome & Camper be used on grass, gravel or hard standing?
Yes. The system has been tested on grass, gravel and hard standing. Two protective rubber mats are supplied in the box and should be placed underneath the bags on every pitch as a precaution against sharp stones, screws or glass. The bag footprint is wider than a typical motorhome tyre, which helps prevent sinking on soft ground.
What tyre width does the LocknLevel Motorhome & Camper support?
The maximum recommended tyre width is 255mm. How long does it take to level a motorhome with the LocknLevel?
Setup takes a few minutes. You drive onto the deflated bag, connect a 12v pump to the standard tyre valve and inflate until the van reads level. Deflation takes seconds. Opening the valve releases the air rapidly so you can drive straight off the unit and pack it away into the supplied storage bag.
