Product Description

The Locknlevel levelling system is a very popular system designed and manufactured by a small company who have brought this innovative caravan levelling solution to market. They understood the need for a system that was light and portable, yet was quick and easy to use, and couldn't find one. So they produced Lock 'n' Level : the only system of its kind. (We do not recommend the Lock ‘n’ Level for use on Motorhomes. The reason is that without corner steadies on each corner of the vehicle there is too much bounce. By using the Lock ‘n’ Level you are in effect doubling the suspension effect. This will result in an uncomfortable effect on the vehicle and instability.)

Following the introduction of 'through-the-wheel' locks, the task of securing & levelling has become far more difficult and time consuming. With a single axle caravan, the wheels can be locked and the caravan perfectly levelled in less than 5 minutes. This will raise your caravan up to 6" dependant upon its weight. The Lock 'n' Level is the only device you need, apart from a standard tyre pump (not supplied).

Lock 'n' Level has been tested on all types of surfaces. It’s also suitable to level both caravans and trailer tents with or without a wheel lock.

With the installation of motor movers, jacking a caravan or using a levelling ramp can be a major problem, not however for a Lock'n'Level! Unlike a lot of other levelling systems, the Lock’n’Level is totally unaffected by the installation of motor movers. Because the 'footprint' of the LocknLevel is a lot larger than that of the tyre that it supports, it is much less likely to sink on soft ground. The fitting of motor movers on a twin axle caravan often necessitates the removal of the jacking points.

The only additional equipment you will need is a car tyre pump and your own choice of wheel locks. (the Lock'n'Level is the perfect partner to your AlKo wheel locks). The Lock'n'Level works at such low pressures (up to 30 psi) that any pump good enough to inflate your car/caravan tyres will be fine.

LocknLevel use only the best quality materials in the Lock 'n' Level and have carried out extensive testing to prove its durability. The device will provide many years of trouble-free service.

PLEASE NOTE: The Alko wheel lock is not included and is for illustration purposes only.

How can I get a caravan perfectly level and at the same time fit my own choice of lock(s)?
Lock'n'Level can provide you with the solution to both problems at the same time.....and what's more, achieve it with very little effort. The only additional equipment required is a standard tyre pump. You can forget all the planks, ramps, bottle jacks, wind-ups, hydraulic jacks and scissor jacks etc.

Lock'n'Level renders them all redundant.

Important Note
These are very robust and they will not fail under normal use but that they could be pierced by a screw, nail, piece of glass or similar, so they recommend putting a cheap rubber mat underneath, smooth side up, as a precaution.

The LocknLevel does not come supplied with an air pump or wheel locks.

5 FAQs on the Lock 'n' Level Single Axle

Is the Lock'n'Level system suitable for use on motor homes?

No. In it's present form we cannot recommend Lock'n'Level for use with motor homes.

Can I leave my Lock'n'Level in place during the winter?

Yes. As long as you leave it deflated. All components on your Lock'n'Level are able to withstand the weather! You should also make sure that it is on a suitable piece of mat to prevent damage by stones and sharp objects etc.

Is there a caravan weight limit with Lock'n'Level?

No. The only limiting factor is the maximum inflation pressure of 30 psi (2 bar), this MUST never be exceeded.

What surfaces can the product be used on?

Grass or Hard standing. We do however recommend the use of a mat to prevent possible damage from sharp objects.

How high will Lock’n’Level lift my caravan?

Both the single axle and the twin axle model can lift over 140 mm(5+”), both dependent upon the weight of your caravan.

This is brilliant...just used it for the first time, so easy and quick...used a rubber door mat underneath it to prevent anything sharp causing problems as advised. I would advise everyone to have one in the locker.

Having used wedge shaped levelling ramps and chocks which are ok but can be awkward at times l decided to purchase the single axle Lock n Level after reading many good reviews about its ease of use. Let’s hope so as the overall concept and build quality appears good (not had an opportunity to use it yet). The item was competitively priced, so all good so far.

I wish I’d bought this ages ago. I’ve previously been messing around with ramps etc on hard gravel pitches to get my single axle caravan level, then fiddling about with my Alko wheel lock which is almost impossible to line up when using a ramp. So rather than buying a different (inferior, unapproved for insurance) lock I spent the money on this lock n level and what a difference! It makes it so easy and quick to get the caravan level with the wheel in exactly the right spot for the Alko lock. Great delivery service as well.

Used it for the first time just days after purchase. Followed instructions and also watched the video on installation. Easy to use only took a couple of minutes from start to finish. Husband said we should have bought this year's ago. Thoroughly worth the money. We used a cheap door mat under the Lock and Level to protect from anything sharp just to be on the safe side.

I have a lot of caravan friends who have bought and successfully used a Lock'N'Level, and after getting an Alco wheel lock, I decided to purchase a single axle unit. At my last trip out of the year I found that the pitch was not as level as I was expecting, so decided to use the Lock'N'Level. This turned out to be a very easy and quick process. Therefore I am delighted with my purchase and would highly recommend it.

Does exactly as it says on the packet. Would recommend a mat under it to give extra protection from and sharp objects underneath. Use it for all sites that are sloping or nowhere near flat etc., especially CL's in very rural areas. Generally not interested in hardstandings or these large commercial sites so cannot comment on them.

easy to use, had our van leveled in seconds, and deflated in seconds, we had to use our car to pull van onto it on 1st use as motor mover was broken so quick and easy to do, would defiantly recommend this product

After several years of trying to use blocks of wood or levelling ramps and get the alko wheel lock lined up as well the lock'n'level has made the job so much easier. Have used my own wooden ramp for 30 years to level the caravan, but we now have a caravan which requires fitting of an Alko wheel lock. It is nigh on impossible to achieve both using this method. Having investigated online and spoken to fellow caravanners I took the plunge and ordered this 3 days before our holiday. Arrived following day - great service. Currently sitting in caravan with offside wheel supported by the lock and level and the Alko lock on nearside. Brilliant!!

Prior to delivery of my item, I had problems with a change of email address. The team at Leisure Direct were brilliant - very helpful, as I could not receive tracking emails. However, this did not affect the delivery - it arrived exactly on timer, and swiftly too, just in time for our departure with the caravan. The product itself was correctly priced (it was in fact the lowest price on the internet, and cheaper than from the manufacturer). It is an inflatable device for levelling a caravan, which was very easy to use, and performed exactly as expected. It is much more convenient and more transportable than the manual MIlenco aluminium leveller that I have used for many years, which does the job perfectly well, but is a bit cumbersome to transport, and relies on muscle power to gradually raise and lower the caravan. I recommend both the product - and Leisure Direct, who have also been very helpful in the past when I have bought awnings from them. past.

We bought the lock & Level, as we were having trouble levelling our caravan on a site, we asked and put in delivery address to site but it was delivered to our home address and couldn’t speak to anyone at Leisureshop direct , emailed twice but no received no response. Any way lock and level looks a great product although yet to try it out.

Used this Lock ‘N’ Level to level our single axle Swift Sprite Alpine 2. It was so simple to use. Having struggled with plastic ramps ramps and wooden blocks this Lock ‘N’ Level is such a great idea. Using a cordless air compressor it took 3-4 minutes to raise our caravan about 5” on one side and level it. perfectly. Well within the maximum permitted PSI pressure too. Glad we brought some extra rubber matting with us though as the first pitch was hard core stones, so needed to protect the bag. It’s not too heavy and takes up less space than a plastic ramp. Brilliant!

Great piece of kit so easy to use and allows fitting of the Alko wheel lock which has always been difficult in the past particularly when the pitch was uneven and the caravan needed levelling side to side, Lock n Level works a treat.
