Measuring the support load of the trailer hitch has been done using personal or towbar scales for more than 10 years. The personal scale is too heavy and imprecise for this type of measurement and therefore not well-suited to be brought along on trips. The plastic or metal towbar scale is operating using a steel spring. This makes it very imprecise. If the guide of the spring breaks, the spring will shoot out and there is a risk of injury. The REICH TLC combines an attractive design with the highest possible degree of precision.

Certainly a big difference in readout as opposed to using the more traditional upright spring loaded measure, by 20kg or more!
Hopefully we will now be legal on our bar weight capacity which means our insurance will also not be invalidated if an accident should occur.

Yes. Drivers have been advised to reduce contact with customers by placing packages at the customer’s doorstep and stepping back. If an ID check is required, these are now performed at a distance.
