Seems to be a quality piece of kit. Not as straightforward to fit as the cable with the dual carabiners. I had to detach the cable from the ring in order to thread the cable through the cable guide and used a pair of woodworking pincers in order to create the gap to thread it off. Used the same technique to re-thread the cable and then to affix to the hand brake. A bit fiddly but still only took a few minutes to fit.

Unlike the image the cable has big chunky clip and split ring. Substantially made and looks like it will do the job.
