The Dometic RCS 10.5XT under counter fridge is chic and practical. An elegant flush-fitting door opens up to a versatile interior with smart storage solutions for your travel provisions. Its double-hinged door allows maximum convenience in any space, allowing the fridge to be opened left or right using the full-height aluminium handles. High-performance compressor technology keeps fresh and frozen food in prime condition. While the intuitive TFT controls enable you to easily adjust the cooling temperature, switch to whisper-quiet night mode, or activate the boost function for super-fast cooling. Plus, if you want to use the entire space for refrigeration, simply remove the patented freezer compartment and rearrange shelves to have it just the way you need it!

The door will open either way
The Dometic RCS10.5T comes out of the box with a right hinge. You can then however easily take the door off and turn it upside down and the shelves inside the door will adapt.

Why choose a Compressor Fridge over an Absorption Fridge?
The compressor fridge performs far better in higher ambient temperatures as it has the best cooling power in its class relevant to outside ambient temperature. This means if you travel to hotter areas of Europe or beyond, then the compressor fridge would suit you far better. An absorption fridge will struggle to perform well with ambient temperatures over 31/32 degrees. Compressor fridges are also more energy efficient than absorption fridges. Another advantage is that as compressor fridges do not run off gas there is no need to vent them to the outside. This means you will not need to cut a hole in the side of your van as the compressor fridge can be ventilated internally into your van.
