Perfect Replacement

5 star review(5/5)
My old (c.15 years) N80 fridge finally stopped staying alight on gas. Initially ordered the wrong replacement (without the spade connectors) but it was quickly replaced by thecorrect one. It seems to be doing the job.

Great Service

Thetford Fridge Sorted!

5 star review(5/5)
Replaced Thermo coupe on Thetford N80 fridge to sort problem that it wouldn't stay out on gas. It's a fairly complicated job involving removing fridge unit, perhaps a job best tackled by a professional, unless you have good mechanical skills and ability to check gas fittings and seals afterwards! Cured problem. Quick service, good price and fast delivery....

2 FAQs on the Thetford Flame Thermocouple for Thetford Fridges

Question

Hi, I placed an order (68091-3074) for a Thetford N90EHR Fridge and have received the order today however ...... When I spoke to a lady, she said all the technical staff were away on training but assured me that if the part number (137204) was what showed on the website exploded diagrams, then it would be correct; but the thermocouple doesn't have the in-line connectors for the flame sensor and control switch. Do I have to take the spade connector unit off the old one? Looks "part" of the old thermocouple to me or have I got the wrong part? Thanks, Ali.

Answer

The part that you should have received is our ref. 138929. This has the two spade connectors. This thermocouple is used on some fridges but not many.
I will send an email for you to return the incorrect items. You will need to call to place a new order for the correct items.

Question

Hi Tom I have a thetford N80 fridge which I am having trouble when switched to gas. I replaced the ignighter and the gas lights now but it wont stay lit. The flame indicator is showing a flame and there definately is a flame because i have checked with assistance. Immediately i let go of the gas knob the flame extinguishes and the flame indicator shows no flame. Do you think i need a new thermostat or a gas valve?
