Product Description

Avtex M249DRS-PRO - 24" LED TV with freeview HD/HD SAT/ Dvd/Rec/Multi-tuner

Watch one programme and record another. Perfect 12 TV to use in your caravan or motorhome.

Smaller, lighter, slimmer. The Ultra compact contemporary design of the 249DRS-PRO is dramatically reduced in physical size and weight , when compared to most standard 24" models but with absolutely no compromise to screen size, with superb viewing and audio quality, packed with features ,such as DVB-T2/DVB-S2 tuners for viewing HD programmes through a standard aerial or satellite dish without the need for further decoders and AQT for very simple set up.

As with all Avtex 12v televisions, the Avtex 249DRS-PRO has been designed specifically with the caravan and motorhome industry in mind and can therefore be used safely and efficiently on 12V/24V DC or 240V AC and it comes with a comprehensive 3 year Avtex warranty.

Avtex televisions are designed from conception for the outdoor leisure industry, designed to operate on 12/24v DC and have an on screen low voltage alert to inform you when your battery is running low.

The remote control has also been enhanced on this TV against the previous model. You now have a battery indicator on the remote control which shows the available voltage left in your battery. There is also a signal quality button which is very useful when trying to adjust your aerial to the optimum position.

Please note that the photos shown are of the 21.5" version of this TV.

Watch one programme and record another
This TV is also fitted with a Multi-tuner which means you can watch one channel and record another. This is new for the 9 series and is a great added benefit. With this new technology, you have the choice also watching a DVD and record a TV programme at the same time. It also allows you to watch terrestrial TV and record a satellite channel at the same time.

Amazing Full HD
With a compact space to fill, the 1080p Full HD looks particularly beautiful on this 24" screen. Watch your favourite shows and films in scintillating detail and eye-popping colour.

HD Satellite Decoder Built-In
Perfect to keep your caravan or motorhome clutter-free, as the Avtex 249DRS-PRO has a built-in satellite decoder there is no need for a set-top box. You can therefore connect your satellite dish straight into your TV to get free to air satellite.

Freeview HD Built In
Using your digital Antenna you can access free channels including BBC, ITV and Channel 4.

Record And Pause Live TV
Never miss your favourite shows again by recording it onto a USB. Whether it terrestrial or satellite channels, you can pause live TV and playback your recordings. All you do is plug your USB into one of the slots. The Avtex 249DRS-PRO allows you to pause live TV and then resume again at your convenience. You can also record to a USB (sold separately) so you can save TV programmes to watch later.

Built-in CD & DVD Player
Integrated into the Avtex 249DRS-PRO is a DVD & CD player which allows you to watch movies or listen to your favourite music.

Avtex Quick Tuning system (AQT)
Avtex Quick Tuning system, by simply holding down the AQT button on the remote control for 3 seconds in either digital or analogue TV mode the TV will automatically tune itself in! Further, with sets that have MHEG5 the added advantage is that all the channels are saved in the correct order! This feature is ideal for tourers, what could be simpler?

Three Power Options - 12V, 24V & Mains AC
This Avtex 24" caravan TV/DVD combination can be powered by 12V, 24V or 240V mains AC, providing you with a high quality viewing experience whether at home or on holiday. Great TV Poor Delivery Packaging.

by Solent (17 Aug 2022)

(5/5)

Great Avtex M249DRS TV, easy to install in our motorhome better picture than our home TV. Not tried watch and record facility yet.
Only downside was delivery outer packaging, an oversized ex duvet carton with inadequate additional fill packing. so quite dented on arrival. Delivery driver surprised no 'fragile' markings on outside actually thought it was a Duvet. Fortunately manufacturer box inside sufficiently substantial so no damage.

Doggy delivery packaging

by Solent (11 Aug 2022)

(4/5)

Online service swift and apparently efficient. Concerns came when parcel delivered. Packed in a re used duvet box outer with dents in it even the delivery driver was concerned when we said there was a TV in it and queried why it was not marked as fragile to negate all the duvet info. Interior was poorly and loosely packed but fortunately the manufacturers box packaging was OK.

Worth The Extra!

by Wendy (13 Oct 2019)

(5/5)

Bought this to replace a cheaper 16 inch tv which we had been quite happy with till the aerial socket started playing up.
What a difference! The picture is so much sharper and more colourful and the viewing angle is much greater too. The sound has good depth for a small unit and overall it feels really good quality! The stand is really nice and solid with non slip pads which is a good idea for caravan or campervan use.
So far this tv has been worth the extra that Avtex products cost and it feels like it will stand up to the portable use much better.
