The Thetford K1520 cooker is lightweight and high performing. The new design comes with a bigger grill, a fan assisted oven and much more.
Compared with other cookers in our market, the K1520 is a lightweight. It is approximately 10% lighter in weight. Smart choices in materials and design makes the difference. Nevertheless the K1520 is still high a performing cooking appliance!

The glass lid gives the cooker a clean look once closed and provides more kitchen work space. An OEM can specify the optional lid shut-off, so that when the glass lid is closed, the gas hob burners and electrical hotplate are automatically shut-off, meeting the latest NCC Code of Practice. With the new K1520 you can use the oven and grill, even with the glass lid closed – a unique feature in our market.

Cooking releases nice aromas into the air. Air is also utilised to improve the performance of the oven. The K1520 has the first RV gas fan assisted oven in Europe. The internal oven fan ensures air recirculation for optimal temperature spread. This creates a more even temperature within the oven, also on the different shelves, and aids quicker cooking. The oven heat up time is also improved with the K1520, going from 20°C to 200°C in approx. 6mins.

What is the maximum pan size?
Please use the correct recommended sizes of pans and position them centrally over the burners. Do not allow cooking vessels to overlap the edges of the appliance. Please refer to your user manual.





How do I identify my appliance?
Each appliance is labelled with a data badge that gives the correct information.
What happens if the oven/grill doesn't work?
If burner has not lit within 15 seconds, release knob and wait at least 1 minute before repeating operation. If it still fails to ignite, contact your dealer.
Why do I need to keep the door open for grilling?
The grill burner works efficiently with the correct circulation of gas and ambient air. Closing the door prevents the circulation of this air and can result in dangerous products of combustion.
What type of gas do I need?
Only operate the stove with the type of gas (propane or butane) and pressure, as indicated on the rating plate.
