Replacing Truma Regulator (Autosleepers Nuevo)

by Donbar (08 Jan 2014)
4 star review(4/5)
It would be helpful if the photo showed the correct part. As mentioned in the other review, this comes with a steel wall fixing plate and with a brass outlet adaptor with M20 male thread. Since I was replacing a Truma in a non-Gaslow system I unscrewed the brass adaptor and the 10mm compression adaptor from the Truma regulator, which fitted perfectly in its place. So, there is no need for the extra mounting plate or outlet adaptor. Good result and worth the effort to get away from regular Truma failures (and cheap too!).

Replacing The Regulator On My Murvi

by Mr Richards (03 Mar 2013)
5 star review(5/5)
Fitting this replacement regulator to my Gaslow system has brought my gas appliances (fridge & cooker) back to their original performance. Although shown as Gaslow, it is actually a Cavagna Type 424RV and not the 424C shown in the picture. However, it arrived with a suitable brass outlet connector already fitted, and aligned perfectly with my existing pipework (for the 424C). A bonus was a metal bulkhead mounting plate, to replace my plastic one - I needed to drill one new fixing hole to fit it, but a it's a much stronger mount. The best news is that the fridge now works brilliantly on gas, with a 'roaring' gas jet when in use.
