The Vango Denali Pro 60:70S sits in that sweet spot between weekend trips and proper multi-day expeditions. Built around Vango's A1 back system, you can adjust the fit with one hand whilst wearing it - something you'll appreciate when you're stood on a hillside trying to get comfortable before tackling the descent. The system uses two body-contoured alloy bars that lock into place, and this S size works for back lengths between 46-56cm (measure from your hip bone to the C7 vertebra at the base of your neck).

Construction combines Excel Eco 250D ripstop polyester on the main body with heavier 600D recycled fabric in high-wear areas. The ripstop pattern stops tears spreading if you snag it on branches or rock, whilst the 600D sections handle abrasion from repeated packing and unpacking. You'll find the pro-weave side pockets particularly useful - they're made from stretchy material that sits flat when empty but expands to hold water bottles or wet layers.
