We're chattin' about the Ruffwear Knot-a-Hitch™ in Red Clay today - it's a supremely handy bit of kit. Made for car camping, this dog tether lets your four-legged friends check out the surroundings while being securely leashed. It's inspired by climbing gear, and boasts a robust kernmantle rope that you can fix between two trees or bolt onto a single post, thanks to Ruffwear-wide hardware. Ideal for when you're putting up your tent or rustling up some grub, keeping your dog near but able to wander. The updated stow bag is long-lasting and resistant to fading.

As for specs, the rope length ticks in at 28.5ft, and the stow bag measures 6 x 7 x 2in. The whole setup weighs 14.4 oz, making it super portable. The shell is tough 300D ripstop polyester, and the rope is 7mm reflective kernmantle. The hardware includes a nifty Crux Clip™, tension clip, and a swivelling carabiner to stop lead tangling. And when it comes to cleaning, a gentle hand wash and air dry has it looking fresh. Remember, always attach to a harness, not a collar, for safety's sake!
