The Outwell Sacramento 4 Air is a 4 man inflatable tunnel tent for couples and small families who want a three-zone layout with room to spread out at the site. Outwell's Pack Small, Live Large approach uses one less air tube, trimming packed size and weight while freeing space for a bigger window and a larger side door.

The tent splits into a wet zone at the front, a living space in the centre and two bedrooms at the rear. The wet zone is the place for muddy boots and damp kit, keeping the remainder of the tent cleaner. Two Dark Premier Bedrooms give darkened sleeping spaces with mesh ventilation, and the patented Quick and Quiet inner doors open silently on a magnetic strip backed by a zip. Big mesh windows with curtains in the third zone wall let light and air through.

A 150D solution-dyed Outtex® HD CoolTech polyester flysheet cuts interior temperatures by up to 15°C, according to Outwell, and the 4,000mm hydrostatic head holds back heavy rain. Pre-shaped PVC-free DuraAir air tubes inflate through external valves at up to 9 psi (0.6 bar), and aluminium 16mm poles complete the frame. The sewn-in groundsheet is double-coated waterproof polyethylene,and the tent is OLS-Ready for Outwell's built in Light System, available separately.

Hydrostatic Head (mm)4000The hydrostatic head of a fabric indicates how well it can keep water out and how waterproof it is. The higher the number, the better! A tent needs to have at least 1000mm HH for light showers, heavy rain and driving wind will put more pressure on the fabric and would therefore require a higher HH of 2000mm.
