The Outwell Monterey 4 Air is a 4 man inflatable tent for small families and couples who want a comfy layout without threading poles through sleeves. The Rigid Air System inflates the tent's air tubes in a single session, and pre-shaped tubes offer the interior headroom and a spacious feel. A two-bedroom layout with a living space and a front canopy offers a welcoming base on site.

The Outtex® HD CoolTech flysheet reflects heat from the sun, cutting temperatures inside by up to 15°C, and the 150D solution-dyed fabric is constructed to withstand fading. Dark Premier Bedrooms with mesh ventilation offer the group a quieter, darker room to sleep. The patented Quick and Quiet magnetic-strip inner doors open and close without waking the tent. Double zips on the front door, backed by a full mesh panel, let fresh air in while keeping bugs out.

The sewn-in groundsheet is double-coated waterproof polyethylene, and the Duratec fibreglass poles (11 to 12.7mm) support the structure beside the air tubes. Inflate and deflate valves sit outdoors the flysheet for easy reach, and PVC-free DuraAir tubes inflate to a maximum of 9 psi (0.6 bar). The light, warm-toned flysheet roof makes the living space brighter inside, and mesh pockets in the inner tents hold small items close to hand. The tent is OLS-Ready for Outwell's built-in Light System, available separately.

The Rockwell 4 Compact is the poled alternative in Outwell's 4 man collection, at 17.5kg with a three-zone layout and an individual wet room by the entrance. Hydrostatic Head (mm)4000The hydrostatic head of a fabric indicates how well it can keep water out and how waterproof it is. The higher the number, the better!
