The Vango Nevis 200 and Nevis 300 are both lightweight tunnel tents using the same Protex 70D polyester flysheet with a 3000 mm hydrostatic head, 70D polyester groundsheet at 6000 mm, and PowerLite 7001-T6 alloy poles with Vango’s TBS II Tension Band System for stability in wind.

  • Nevis 200: 2 person, commonly used solo or by two people who pack light.
  • Nevis 300: 3 person, comfortable for 2 with extra kit space, or a tight fit for 3.

Weight

  • Nevis 200: around 1.79 kg trail weight, 2.02 kg packed.
  • Nevis 300: around 2.29 kg trail weight, 2.5 kg packed.

Pack size

  • Nevis 200: roughly 42–46 x 14–15 cm.
  • Nevis 300: roughly 42 x 15 cm (some retailers list 46 x 17 cm).

Internal space and dimensions

  • Nevis 200: footprint around 245–250 cm long by 185–200 cm wide, internal height about 95–105 cm at the highest point.
  • Nevis 300: footprint around 250–280 cm long and 175–240 cm wide depending on how vestibule and inner are measured, with similar peak height around 105 cm.

  • Nevis 300: better for two people plus gear or those who want more elbow room while still keeping weight sensible for walking or cycle touring.
