The new Vango Joro 450 4-man tent is a poled tent within our new Earth Collection. The new collection launches our Sentinel Eco Fabric, made from recycled single use plastics. Not only does the Joro reduce plastic waste from the environment but it also benefits from many key features including an integrated front awning with a large front door, which can be fully rolled back and a side door that can be King-Poled open to enjoy the good weather, or zipped up when more shelter is required, giving a real outdoors feel. Fresh airflow is also a key feature as both the living room doors have mesh panels which increase the airflow, whilst keeping the bugs out. Space is plentiful with a large dining and social area. The Joro also sleeps up to four people in the King-Sized, Nightfall bedrooms, designed to reduce early morning light. The Clear Access design allows you to enter the bedroom with no step over and gives you a wider entrance.

Key Features of the Vango Joro poled 450

70D Sentinel Eco Fabric- Vango have focused developing their fabric with the environment in mind and have taken single use plastic waste and transformed it into their all new Sentinel Eco Fabric (more detail on how they have done this below).
Mesh living room doors Both the living room doors on all the Vango Earth tents have integrated mesh panels that increase the flow of air within the tent, whilst keeping all the biting bugs out!
Nightfall bedrooms The bedrooms are made from a thick weave material, which helps to reduce early morning light.
Pre-angled poles Much greater internal tent space is acheived than inside tents with standard curved poles. These pre-angled poles also provide very effective bracing against side winds.
TBSII Tension Band System A three-point band system braces the Vango AirBeam structure to ensure these tents perform in adverse conditions, especially in strong changeable winds.
King-sized bedrooms A very comfortable 70cm sleeping area per happy camper is provided in the Joro 450. There are 2 140 cm bedrooms.
Fully sewn-in groundsheet A bug and draught-free environment is created by this seam, adding to the comfort of all campers.The groundsheet is attached to the flysheet with an external strom skirt to provide all round protection.

The Vango Joro is made from Vango's Sentinel Eco fabric, giving durability and quality (waterproof with 3000MM HH, easy to clean, fully factory taped seams, 70D polyester, fire retardant, UPF 30+, durable and ColorLok), but also peace of mind you are helping to protect our great outdoor environment. How have Vango incorporated recycled single use plastics into thei Earth Collection? Firstly PET (polyethylene terephthalate), single use plastics are collected, sorted, washed and crushed. The plastic is then made into pellets and spun into a thread, which is woven into the Vango Sentinal Eco fabric. This fabric is then made into the Vango Earth Tents and is all ready to accompany you and keep you safe from the elements in comfort, on your next camping adventures!

These poled Earth tents give a strong, light and reliable structure due to the Vango PowerFlex Fiberglass poles, which are also pre-angled to achieve greater internal space than would be achieved with standard curved poles. These pre-angled poles give very effective bracing against side winds. The poled Earth tents also boast many of the key features the Air Earth tents do, like the fully sewn-in groundsheet to exclude any draughts, Nightfall Bedrooms so the little ones don't wake up the whole family at first light, TBS II (Tension Band System) to give you peace of mind to go camping in windy weather, Diamond Clear windows to create a light and airy atmosphere, Mesh living room doors to give great ventilation, but keep the nasty biting bugs out and flexible door step and clear access bedrooms, so that even if you have had one too many you won't trip into the bedrooms.

The Vango Joro poled tent comes in two sizes to meet the requirements of small and large families. The Joro 450 suits a family of 4 or smaller. It has an integrated front awning and large front door which can be king poled open giving a great undercover outdoor space. Perfect for getting off wet clothes and wellies or a great shade in sunny, hot weather. It also has a large dining room and social area, with it’s extensive living room……..it really provides a great family space. The Vango Joro poled 450 tent is ideal for the smaller family and offers two king-sized bedrooms, giving each camper a very comfortable, luxurious 70cm of sleeping space. Along with the thick weaved Nightfall bedrooms, you are ensured a comfy nights sleep so you are ready for the next days antics and fun! It is produced from recycled material equivalent to 180 plastic bottles and has a pitch time of around 20 minutes and a lighter weight of 17Kg.
