Hi, am about to drain up caravan for summer. Before I flood it, should the water inlet junction rotate freely (as it is doing) for a Morco D61 boiler? Noticed this whilst refitting the drain plug.

No, the inlet connection should be fixed. You may need to dismantle the water control unit to check for damage.
