Question

Hi I have fault code 1 on my thetford fridge. I've downloaded a pdf file from thetford which tells me to check the 5 amp fuse. I can't locate this fuse? I've also checked the main fuse board for fridge on caravan and that's fine. Any Ideas?

Answer

The 5 amp fuse in on the power board which is situated at the back of the fridge, normally accessible through the lower exterior vent. You have to remove the cover of the power board housing which is not the easiest of jobs. If the 5 amp fuse has 'blown' then it is likely that there is another fault, possibly a faulty heating element.
