Question

Hi, I incorrectly ordered Bowden Cables 124428 for my AL-KO boat trailer and need to return them for an exchange. I now realise I should have ordered Knott type with a full threaded end where it attaches to the splitter bar and soldered nipple at the wheel. I finally got to work on it this weekend and note that the existing cables are marked 1189 AL-KO 299711HL1020 ad 2899 AL-KO 299711HL1020 - can you confirm that I should order replacements as 124632 please? Also my order number was 52161-0914 but I do not have a return code please could you advise where I can get one? Thanks in advance for your help!

You have ordered the correct cable as our part 124428 ( Alko ref 247285) replaces Alko part 299711. Alko no longer manufacture cables with threaded ends and you will need to cut a slot in the balance (splitter) bar to fit.
