Question

HI, my carver cascade 2ge is not igniting on gas, you can hear it clicking but doesn’t ignite, I don’t think the igniter is sparking, what could cause this. Just got it out of storage and it worked fine at the end of last season, any help is much appreciated, thanks Mick

If the igniter is clicking then it does indicate that it is sparking. It is more likely that the gas valve is not opening and that no gas is reaching the burner. Unfortunately the burner module that includes the gas valve is no longer available. This would mean replacing your caravan water heater.
