Hi Tom Have a Dometic RM7401 fridge ,not getting very cold on gas or electric, any clues,or is this a common problem with these, heard they discontinued ?

The RM7 series has now been replaced with the RM8 series caravan refrigerator but parts are readily available for your fridge. I assume that you have checked the temperature inside the fridge with a thermometer as in cold weather it is sometimes deceiving when temperature outside is similar to temperature inside the fridge.
You will be aware that these fridges are reliant on being level for optimum performance. I assume that you have had the fridge serviced. If the poor performance continues then it may be caused by a breakdown in the heat exchanger and this is a workshop job to replace and is fairly expensive.
