Hi we have a 2001 swift caravan with the cooker with the electric ring. We are having problems Re-lighting the grill when hot the only way we can re light it if we let it cool is this normal

No this is not normal. The only thing that could be causing this is the burner itself. I cannot think of any other part which would cause this. I suggest replacing the burner. If you need the part please contact our sales team with the serial number of the cooker.
