Question

I have a 1997 abbey vogue gts 517,my problem is I switch my water heater on it has mains power and plenty of water, but I keep getting red light heater fault coming on.

Answer

The red light is relevant to the gas operation and indicates that the burner has not lit for some reason. You will need to have it checked at a caravan workshop. The operation by 230 volt mains is controlled by a fused spur switch.
