Question

My N145 blows the mains trip when switched to the 240 V supply but does seem to work on the gas supply. I thus assume the heating element circuit is shorting . Does this indicate I should replace the heating element? If so how do I go about replacing it?

Answer

Yes, you will need to replace the heating element. You may be able to access this through the rear vents, otherwise you will need to remove the fridge from its fixed position. You will need to split the cover on the insulated chimney housing to access the heater, which will slide upwards to remove.
