Question

The remis blind on the front end cabin of our caravan will not retract, I think I need a new spring is this correct. It is for a Bailey Discovery 2006 100

Answer

You should be able to increase the tension in the blind by winding the blind clockwise using the ratchet at the right hand end of the cassette. A smaller flat blade screwdriver will be required and you will find the slot on the side of the blind at the top. If you cannot access this slot then you will need to remove the whole blind from the window.
If the retensioning is not possible then you may need to replace the spring mechanism, our part 140859.
