1 FAQ on the Mushroom roof vent, plastic

re the GY20 roof vent, as i'm trying to find a 'horizontal roof mounted and waterproof outlet to install on my Bessacarr E695 roof (bathroom location). could you inform if this is (a) Flange mounted & (b) does its 'outlet' vent via the top of the unit, or from 'under the dome', as it appears to have 'outlet grooves' on top from the site photos ? All that I really need is a none powered flange mounted & weatherproof dome outlet able to connect up to a 100mm pipe..
The mushroom vent, our ref. 123804 is a non powered vent which may be suitable.

Caravan Roof Vents

Replacement vents identical to originals so no problem fitting them. Reason for replacement due to destruction caused by UV and omething others caravanners should be aware of. Shame caravan manufacturers don't use UV resistant plastics everywhere.

Just The Job

by Robert (22 Aug 2021)
5 star review(5/5)
The vent measurements given were accurate and fitted just fine. It did not take long to replace old one which had become brittle. Other reviews on the website were positive. I was hesitant only because website showed only one pic and it was not clear that the inside fixing plate was part of it. It was and was all good and not expensive.
